Partner, Operations

Christina is a Partner for Telescopic Ventures, leading various finance, tax, and compliance operations for the firm, diligence around investment activities as well as coordinating resources needed to help portfolio companies grow. Previously she was Partner and CFO for Himalaya Fund, leading their finance, tax, and compliance operations. Himalaya Fund’s portfolio includes companies such as Bear Robotics (followed by Softbank), KizToPros (EdTech), NextDish (FoodDelivery), and Deep Motion (followed by Samsung Ventures). She is also co-founder of Y-Labs Entrepreneurship and co-host of the podcast Silicon Valley Founders Secrets.

As an experienced board member with a demonstrated history in the venture capital & startup world, Christina has worked with the founders of Beijing based FinTech company 9F (IPOed on NASDAQ with symbol “JFU” on August 2019) to advise them on FinTech strategy in Silicon Valley and their first significant investment in the U.S. She was also an advisor to technology startups Mode.AI (AI), Radivision (FinTech), Deepernetwork (network security), and Siva Power (clean tech).

Christina strives to bring different worlds together as a diversity and inclusion leader, skilled in business development (especially Chinese business development), auditing, internal control, and corporate governance. She is a licensed CPA in New York and California, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information System Auditor. Her top clients include Google, Intuitive Surgical, VMware, the Federal Reserve Bank. She also drove PwC's Silicon Valley China Business Development Initiatives and Chaired the PwC North Texas Market Asian and Asian Pacific Affinity Group.

She enjoys Latin dancing and has performed salsa with her team during many top world competitions including the 2019 San Francisco Bachata Festival, 2019 San Francisco International Salsa Bachata Kizomba Zouk Congress, and the 19th International Salsa and Bachata Super Congress in Las Vegas. Christina holds a BA in Computer Science from Harding University and a MA in accounting from the University of Arkansas.
